The Fender® American Ultra II Meteora® Bass features a select alder body with sculpted body contours. For effortless playability, the quartersawn maple neck features our Modern D profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish. Ebony or quartersawn maple 10”-14” compound radius fingerboards feature Ultra rolled edges, medium-jumbo frets, Luminlay® side dots and Graph Tech® TUSQ® nuts. The tapered neck heel and sculpted body contours allow unparalleled access to the higher register, while the truss rod access at the headstock provides convenient and easy setup and adjustment.
Outfitted with a set of specially designed Haymaker™ bass humbuckers, this bass delivers a massive tonal range with seismic lows, hard-hitting mids and sweet, articulate highs, all without a hint of hum. The redesigned preamp features unprecedented control to unlock endless tonal possibilities. Key features include S-1™ switching for active/passive operation, passive tone control and 3-band active EQ with switchable midrange frequency. Additional road-ready features including an adjustable HiMass™ top-load or string-through-body bridge, Fender light-weight tuners with tapered shafts, knurled aluminum knobs and 1-ply anodized aluminum pickguard.

COMPOUND RADIUS EBONY OR QUARTERSAWN MAPLE FINGERBOARD, ULTRA ROLLED EDGES, LUMINLAY SIDE DOTS
Built for speed, comfort and facility, the 10”-14” compound-radius fingerboard is rounded near the nut, becoming increasingly flatter as it nears the upper register. Luminlay® glow-in the-dark side dots provide exceptional visibility even on the darkest stages while “Ultra” rolled fingerboard edges and a silky, smooth “Ultra” satin finish make the neck effortless to play.
HAYMAKER™ BASS HUMBUCKERS
Equipped with the Haymaker™ bass humbuckers, this calibrated set delivers an incredibly versatile range of powerful and expressive sounds for dynamic Fender bass tone that is second to none. For impeccable string-to-string balance and the finest tone, these pickups are crafted with a special array of Alnico rod magnets Alnico V magnets under the low strings pack serious punch with crisp and deep lows, while Alnico II rods under the top two strings create a sweet and complex character that cuts and snaps while never getting harsh.
ULTRA II ACTIVE BASS PREAMP WITH S-1™ SWITCHING
Redesigned for unprecedented control, this 18 volt preamp features S-1™ switching for active/passive operation so you can change modes on the fly and a global passive tone control to easily shape your active and passive sounds for authentically deep vintage timbres. The precise and powerful 3-band active EQ offers shimmering musical highs, satisfyingly punchy lows and a switchable midrange frequency to seriously sculpt your sound.
